Last night’s dream felt symbolic. It starts out like im watching a scene from a movie (third person). I see ocean water sloshing and these dolphins turn and a girl rides the dolphin. Its a family swimming in the water and then I see that its an enclosed water tank and bulldozers are forcing the dolphins the swim and turn so that the family can ride them. When i see it its like im the girl and im furious. I yell that the people operating the bulldozer and they are also the owners of this business. Im outraged. This is so wrong. I want to shut this business down. Im walking with this family telling off the main woman business owner. And suddenly like one of the people in my family is like a police officer wearing a uniform. We talk about how we need more evidence to shut them down and I should go back and look for things. So i walk back and its weird because the lady knows who i am and everything but its like she can’t stop me for some reason. So i walk through what feels like classrooms - cult classrooms. The vibes of the lessons are very culty and im like almost interested like what have i found here. Then i remember sitting inthe back of this big classroom - still in view of the lady and i feel like shes sayings tuff trying to get me out but can’t. And the professor is alright with me staying and listening. The student next to me i feel like he’s nice but again culty vibes. Then i just remember walking. Walking towards what feels like a weird secret. Then i remember seeing four greek god looking men. They were intertwined like they were sleeping in a pod and waiting for the lady to come. I touch each one (like on their arm or cheek) sensually, almost awakening them. Then i trun the lady is stopping towards me and so are others. Im in a field by the way. Then suddenly a grey horse is running towards me. I remember this horse from an earlier part of the dream. He followed me. Which amazes the lady. He doesn’t like anyone or let anyone ride him. He has like a lightening stripe of white. Someone says that he was hit by lightening and was never the same. I remember that a long time ago i was also hit by lightening. The horse comes to me and suddenly im on his back and it feels so good. I wake up and immediately think of the chariot card in tarot.
Your dream is rich with symbolism and emotion, reflecting both your inner self and perhaps your current life circumstances. Let’s delve into the various elements of your dream to understand their potential meanings.
Ocean and Dolphins: Water often symbolizes emotions and the unconscious in dream interpretation. The ocean, with its vastness, may represent your feelings or experiences that are deep, perhaps even overwhelming. Dolphins are typically seen as symbols of playfulness, harmony, and intelligence. However, in your dream, they are confined in a water tank, which suggests feelings of entrapment or restrictions in your life, possibly related to your emotions or social interactions.
The Family and the Business Owners: The family swimming and riding the dolphins indicates a desire for joy and connection. You might crave experiences of freedom or playfulness that are being stymied by authoritative figures (the business owners operating bulldozers). This reveals a conflict between your values of compassion and freedom versus the exploitation or commercialization you perceive in your environment.
The Outrage and Authority: Your fury toward the bulldozers and the business owner suggests a strong sense of justice within you. This part of the dream indicates your willingness to fight against injustices, possibly relating to how you see others mistreating those who are vulnerable (like the dolphins). The presence of a family member in a police uniform reflects your inner resources or support in standing up against wrongdoing, symbolizing the need for backup when confronting oppressive forces.
Cult Classrooms: The transition into buildings that feel like cult classrooms suggests that you are exploring new ideas or perspectives that may be appealing yet fundamentally questionable. This could reflect current explorations in your life where you find yourself drawn to groups or concepts that are out of the ordinary or that challenge your beliefs. The cult vibes symbolize caution, prompting you to assess your surroundings and the influences in your life while remaining curious.
Greek God Figures: The four Greek god-like men could represent different aspects of your own identity or potential. Interacting with them might signify awakening parts of yourself that you have yet to explore; they symbolize power, creativity, and perhaps desires or abilities you've been hesitant to embrace. Their “sleeping” state could suggest that these capabilities are dormant.
The Grey Horse: The horse appearing at the end is a powerful symbol of freedom, strength, and personal power. You mention the horse following you and not liking anyone, yet it trusts you. This suggests that you have an innate capacity to connect with aspects of yourself that others might overlook or fail to recognize. The horse, struck by lightning yet still full of potential, may reflect your own experiences of trauma or significant challenges that have transformed you. The mention of being struck by lightning, too, suggests a past that shaped you profoundly and perhaps introduced you to strength or insight that helps you navigate your current circumstances.
Chariot Card Reference: The connection to the Chariot card in tarot is particularly notable. In tarot, the Chariot signifies control, willpower, determination, and triumph over obstacles. This suggests that you are finding your way through challenges, harnessing your emotions and experiences to move forward with focus and intention. This card also indicates that you may soon embark on a journey of self-discovery or empowerment.
Overall Interpretation: Your dream indicates a deep inner conflict between emotional freedom and feelings of oppression or manipulation. It highlights your yearning for connection and empowerment while engaging with issues of justice and authenticity in your life. The recurring symbols of water, animals, and authoritative figures illustrate a powerful narrative of awakening and standing up for what you believe is right.
Ultimately, this dream could be a call to explore your feelings, take action where you see injustice, and embrace your inner strength, much like the grey horse that follows and empowers you. It invites you to venture into new territories of thought and feeling while remaining grounded in who you are.
